 A Valuable Adjunct to Cosmetic Facial Surgery 

We recommend to our patients a range of services that are designed toward improving overall skin health, rejuvenating or maintaining a youthful appearance. Skin care products and treatments are carefully selected for medical effectiveness and safety. Although there is no magic, impressive changes are possible from an individually designed and professionally supervised skin care program.

To put it simply, we believe it's not just what product is used but how each is used. Many patients purchase products, which are widely available in doctor's offices, but discontinue their use for a variety of reasons. We believe that the  support our patients receive from SkinZone Rx results in a high rate of compliance resulting in dramatic improvement.

The formulations utilized have therapeutic value relating to treatment of:

• Sun damaged skin
• Vascular disorders
• Acne/problematic skin
• Pre malignant conditions
   

The overall program is intended to improve skin health and ultimately its appearance. Hence, the utilization of these formulations in our cosmetic surgery practice is an integral part of our overall care of our patients. These products serve as an adjunct in the care of the surgical patient, but often are recommended in lieu of surgery when the primary goal is to improve overall skin quality or improve a specific problem. Therefore, prior to dispensing these formulations to a new patient, a complete skin care evaluation is performed by Becky Dyke and a treatment plan outline is individually prescribed.

Skin care products are provided in our office by SkinZone Rx, which we refer to because of the quality of care provided to our patients. Becky Edwards Dyke is a licensed aesthetician and owner of SkinZone Rx and is not employed by North Dallas Plastic Surgery.
