Pectoral Implants for Men
What man doesn’t want a chest that appears well defined and sculpted? Unfortunately, the chest is one of the most difficult areas of the male physique to transform through exercise, diet and weight training. This is especially true if genetics has put you at a disadvantage in this area. The good news is that men who desire more definition in the chest can use pectoral implants to achieve this look.
Male Chest Augmentation
During male chest augmentation, a solid, silicone implant is placed through an incision made near the armpit. The pec implant sits atop the existing pectoral muscle. Pectoral implants are a good solution for men with an asymmetrical chest who are unable to correct this problem with weight training.
Pec implants come in a variety of shapes of sizes. The implants have the look and feel of muscle, and because they aren’t gel or fluid filled, there’s no chance of leakage or tearing.
Our Approach to Pec Implant Surgery
Our pec implant procedure is performed under general anesthesia to ensure the comfort of the patient. You will be able to go home the same day of your procedure. Patients typically are able to resume normal activity and return to work within approximately one week of the procedure. After pec implant surgery, you should refrain from exercising for four to six weeks, to allow healing to take place. You should also avoid lift heavy objects for a period of six weeks after your pectoral implant surgery.
